Isolated DNA and RNA from cervical samples of infertile and pregnant women, women with gynecological malignancies. Performed polymerase chain reaction (PCR) assays to determine the presence and frequency of genetic polymorphisms of immune system-related genes in relation to pregnancy outcome, infections, early and advanced malignancy and prognosis. Performed enzyme—linked immunosorbent assays to measure levels of gene products, various cytokines and proteins, and correlate findings with PCR results. Supervised other laboratory personnel. |
